Speech Writing.

 ๐Ÿ’ซ *Speech Writing* ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ–Š️

On *The National Youth Day*( *Yuva Diwas*).12th January 2021.

A very good to one and all.Honourable Chairperson, the principal of our college....., my colleagues and my dear students.Today,we are celebrating the National Youth Day.This day is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of an eminent personality, Swami Vivekananda since 1984.The main objective  behind the celebration is to make a better future of the country by motivating the youths and spreading the ideas of Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekanand was born on 12th January 1863 at Kolkata(Calcutta). He was a son of Vishvanath Datta and Bhuvneshwari Devi. His premonetic name was Narendra. He was a renowned philosopher, poet, writer, orator, thinker, social reformer and patriot. He is best known for his speech at the parliament of the World's  Religion held in 1893 in Chicago. He won the hearts of the American people by  using  the words *My brothers are and Sisters*....He had a spiritual and meditative personality. In 1881,he met with Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans at Dakshineswar's Kali temple and became his disciple. He founded Ramkrishna Mission and Ramkrishna Math in Calcutta.Sister Nivedita was his deciple .His philosophical works comprise *Raj Yog* and *modern Vedanta*.

*'Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached'* is one of the popular quotes of Swami Vivekananda which is the source of inspiration for millions of youth today.

50 %of India's population is under the age of 25 means youth population .In the 21st century era, there is a cut throat competition for youths to make career. And Swami Vivekananda is a role model for the youths because of his strong mind ,body, spirit and role in the nation building activities during the independence movement.

Friends,on seeing the qualities of Swami Vivekananda, we should be proud of him .Be knowledgeable like Swami Vivekananda. You , *youths* imitate the heroes in the film industry. But you should imitate this great hero of India and acquire some of the qualities from his personality. It is ridiculously but aptly said ' *เค•ेเคธ เคตाเคขเคตूเคจ เคฆेเคตाเคจंเคฆ เคฌเคจ เคจ्เคฏाเคชेเค•्เคทा  เคœ्เคžाเคจ เคตाเคขเคตूเคจ เคตिเคตेเค•ाเคจंเคฆ เคฌเคจा* .  Really, his personality is an idol for everyone. His preaching is still useful for us.

Such a great soul departed while he was in a meditative state in 1902. I pay my tribute to him.

Today's second eminent personlity before us is Rajamata Jijabai.Co incidentally,we are celebrating the birth anniversaries of these great personalities on the same date.

*The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.*

These qoutes describe the power of a mother on upbringing a child and these quotes are apt for Jijabai,  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Empire.

She was an ideal mother who instilled values like patriotism and love for Dharma in Shivaji Maharaj.

Jijabai Shahaji Bhosale, referred to as Rajmata Jijabai or Jijau who was a daughter of Lakhuji Jadhav of Shindkhed Raja. She was born on 12th January 1598.

She was a very courageous woman. When she saw how the Mughal emperors treated the Hindus, she wished to fight with them and establish the Maratha Empire in Maharashtra. And for this great cause, she prepared Shivaji Maharaj right from his childhood. She taught him many moral lessons. And because of her efforts and teachings, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj became the crowned King of Maratha Swaraj on 6 th June 1674.But unfortunately,Jijamata couldn't live in the free Maharashtra for  longer time.It means she passed away very soon after the coronation of Shivaji Maharaj i.e on 17 th June 1674.The credit for establishing the Swaraj goes to her.Really, she was an ideal mother.I pay my homage to this great mother.

Thank you.
